How does PPT-Mirror work?

The PPT Mirror program mirrors PowerPoint slides.
You will then receive either a PowerPoint again or a PDF with the mirrored slides.

With traditional telepromter apps that continuously scroll the text down, you fall into a rigid read-aloud mode.
The advantage of PPT-Mirror is that you can use your existing presentation and record it using prompter. Your language remains natural because you don’t read off word for word.

If you put the slides into a telepromter on an iPhone or iPad, for example, you have to advance them manually.

You have two options for shifting:
A Bluetooth or USB remote control (these are already available for a few euros, also in combination with laser pointers, as used in “normal” lectures).
This allows you to advance the slides largely unnoticed.
Here is an example on Amazon:

What I like to use is a foot switch (also USB). This “pedal” is used by musicians who want to use it to turn over their notes on the iPad. The footswitches are not audible and allow you to advance slides while sitting or standing, or to scroll back if necessary. For example this one:

PPT-Mirror is available as Windows or Mac version.
